🦘🐧 From Capybaras to Kängurus: My German Zoo Adventure You Don’t Want to Miss

Imagine walking through one of the best zoos in Germany. Around every corner, a new animal appears: an elegant ostrich strutting like it owns the place, koi fish shimmering like living jewels, and kangaroos hopping around like they’re late for a meeting.

Now imagine not just seeing these animals, but learning how to say their names in German while you meet them. That’s exactly what I did — and I filmed the whole adventure! 🎥

🐾 The Adventure Begins

At 0:00, the first animal greets me: the Ostrich — in German, der Strauß. He’s tall, a little sassy, and honestly, looks like he could start a fashion blog with those legs.

Then, at 9:40, I meet the calm and colorful Koi (der Koi). Peaceful. Elegant. Totally zen. The kind of fish you want to meditate with.

By 10:20, things get energetic — I find a Kangaroo (das Känguru), and yes, it hops around just like in cartoons. Later at 16:30, another kangaroo shows up, like it didn’t want to miss its cameo in the vlog.

🐴 The Rare Encounter

The highlight for any zoo lover? At 11:50, I meet the legendary Przewalski’s horse (das Przewalski-Pferd). This isn’t just any horse — it’s a living piece of history, the last truly wild horse species in the world. Seeing it in Berlin Zoo is like stepping back into prehistory.

🦆 The Quirky Crew

Fast-forward a bit and you’ll meet:

  • 27:20 – A young ostrich (der junge Strauß) trying to figure out life.

  • 30:20 – The internet’s favorite chill animal, the Capybara (das Wasserschwein). Fun fact: Germans literally call it a “water pig”!

  • 33:40 – Finally, a Goose (die Gans), proudly honking like it owns the zoo.

Each animal comes with its German name, making the video both fun to watch and useful if you’re learning German.

🎥 Ready for the Adventure?

Don’t just read the words. See the animals, hear the sounds, and learn German in the most entertaining way possible.

Trust me — once you see the capybara chilling like it’s on vacation, you’ll never forget the word Wasserschwein. 🐹💦
