๐Ÿšฒ Life in Berlin: Coffee, Chaos, and Currywurst Nights

Living in Berlin is like juggling history, hipsters, and a never-ending supply of bicycles. Every day feels like a mix of routine and surprise.

Take my mornings, for example. I bike to my favorite cafรฉ in Prenzlauer Berg. The ride is always an adventure: dodging delivery vans parked on bike lanes, getting overtaken by someone twice my age pedaling like they’re in the Tour de France, and finally parking next to a forest of other bicycles, hoping I remember which one is mine later.

At the cafรฉ, the barista already knows my order: a flat white and a Franzbrรถtchen. He always greets me with a cheerful Na?“ — a tiny Berlin word that somehow means everything and nothing at the same time.

The afternoons are my favorite. Berlin has this magical way of turning even errands into little discoveries. I once left the house just to buy bread and ended up at a tiny flea market. Instead of bread, I came back with an old German grammar book and a vinyl record. The grammar book was dusty, but it reminded me why I came here in the first place: to live, learn, and laugh in this crazy, inspiring city.

And the nights? They’re never predictable. Sometimes it’s a quiet walk along the Spree, the city lights flickering like whispers of history. Other times, it’s standing at a street corner at 1 AM, eating Currywurst with strangers who instantly feel like old friends.

That’s Berlin for me: messy, alive, and endlessly teaching me something new — whether it’s about life, people, or just another tricky German word.
